Job Description

We need an native Italian male voice to record lines as a World War II pilot. For each line, we need three takes recorded: a relatively calm, informative voice, a more intense stressed/nervous sounding voice, and the most intense voice based on the most extreme possibility for the line that is being spoken.

Here is my advice as to how to most clearly differentiate the lines:

First, for all of these tracks, imagine yourself in the cockpit of plane.

For the calmer informative voice, it should be rather informative. Think of a pilot calling back to base to report on the status of his mission. A clear, succinct voice in a matter-of-fact style would be perfect.

For the nervous voice, imagine yourself in a situation where you truly don't know if you're going to live. Your adrenaline is pulsing through your body and your voice should reflect the uncertainty of your situation. You are worried.

For the intense voice, imagine yourself in the most strenuous possibility of the phrase you're delivering. The register of your voice in these moments might often be slightly higher in pitch.

In all of these lines, I encourage you to keep in mind the lines you're delivering and what is likely happening around the pilot as he says these lines. Try to put yourself into the moment as much as possible, and understand that some moments are going to be more intense than others.

Please read through the script and record lines 27, 39, 81, 85, and 95 using the three styles for your demo. When recording please say the English version of the line before saying the three Italian versions.
