Job Description

Hi -- we're looking for a male voice, mature (but under 50 sounding), naturally deep and rich, with an Americanized French accent. The accent should be Americanized like a Frenchman reading English - light and not pronounced.

You will be reading a training lesson on Courvoisier cognac in English. This is NOT a dramatic read, but some skill at professional narration, with tone changes, inflections and proper pacing is required to make the content interesting.

Pay scale is $100 per hour - we're thinking final audio of 12 minutes.

Thank you.
David Cichanowicz

'The story of COURVOISIER® combines the rich traditions of early 19th century France when Emmanuel Courvoisier and Louis Gallois founded the company just outside of Paris.

Legend has it Napolean I, on his infamous journey to St Helena, took several barrels of COURVOISIER® cognac on his ship. The English officers along with him were so enamoured by the spirit that they named it "The Cognac of Napoleon” - a name that continues to this day.

In 1843, Felix Courvoisier established the current COURVOISIER company in Jarnac - a small town in the Cognac region.

And, in 1869, Napoleon III granted COURVOISIER® Cognac the title of "Official Supplier to the Imperial Court" - a status awarded to no other Cognac.
