Job Description

Over 400 motorcyclists die on Texas roads and highways each year, this public service announcement serves as a reminder to always look twice for motorcycles when driving. The script is written as a thank you letter from a variety of different motorcyclists to those Texas drivers that do take that extra effort to look twice for motorcycles when changing lanes, merging with traffic or at an intersection.

This job is for all voices with the exception of the announcer. Script below and attached:

ANNOUNCER: These thank you notes are from people who ride motorcycles to people who don’t.

#1: Dear driver, thank you for sharing the road with me.

#2: Thank you for looking out for me at the intersections, around corners and especially in the left lane

#3: Thank you for not being too distracted to see me on your way to work or to the gym or the store.

#4: Thank you for looking out for motorcycles when the weather’s bad or when it’s dark outside or when conditions are less than perfect.

#5: Thank you for giving me your undivided attention when the traffic’s heavy

#6: Thank you for understanding that motorcycles can be hard to see and for making the extra effort to spot me, even though you don’t ride a motorcycle yourself.

#7: Thank you for keeping in mind that motorcycles are not equipped with bumpers and air bags. Thank you for being my best protection.

#1: Sincerely,

People who ride motorcycles.
