Job Description

This is a promo for a non-profit child-aid organization. The onscreen actress is a mid-20s Hispanic woman, but the voiceover does not need to have an Hispanic accent.

We are using recorded voice-over as the onscreen talent is not speaking.

This character's name in the script is Hope and she is considering sponsoring a child in Asia. The voiceover needs to be American English (accent not necessary) - the read needs to be believable, emotive and conversational.

Please provide a quick demo read of the following for client review:

"Hope! Put that little girl's face out of your mind. Those videos about kids in poverty break my heart. But someone else will sponsor Grace.....right?"

We are looking for the read to show frustration in the first line - as if you are thinking to yourself you don't have time to consider sponsoring a child, but then melting into humble empathy with the second line: "those videos about kids....".

Once we have client approval for the selected talent, we will proceed with the full script. It is only this excerpt and another couple of lines (page 2 and top of page 3 of the script).

Note from job posting has been reviewed and approved by staff. recommends that you slate and name your audition file for this job posting to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
