This project is a 7 - 10 Minute animated project for use in one location. It is not for broadcast or release.

-------- Project notes:
Lobster Pounding is a seldom-practiced Maine Lobster tradition, which promotes sustainability and is one way that Lobstermen insure they will be able to provide people with live, fresh, authentic Maine Lobster during the harsh winter season.

The Character:

This is the story of that process as told by fifth generation Lobsterman Luke aka "Lobster Boy". Luke is 12 years old. He runs his own boat, makes and sets his own traps, and sells his own lobster. He is very proud of what he does and there is nothing else he would rather do, and no place he would rather be.

Luke may have an old soul, and an adult work ethic, but he has a fun and playful personality. Luke is eager to share his love of Lobster Fishing by helping people understand the process and the people who make it happen every day.
Luke is NOT a throw-back to an earlier time. He is a modern kid who just happens to love being a lobsterman and telling people about it. He's energetic, Knowledgeable, engaging, sincere and believable.

Luke makes being a Lobster Fisherman cool.

Script is not finished. Expected to be 7 minutes long.
