Job Description

We're looking for a male announcer voice that sounds like it could be aged anywhere from late 30s to 50s. It has to sound warm, friendly, sincere, hopeful and a voice of wisdom and experience. Cannot sound announcer-ish. A phone patch into your studio, or a commissioned studio is required. DBA is not responsible for studio costs. The Budget listed is for 2 scripts (both 30 seconds). An example script is listed below. If selected you will be reading two scripts, including the one listed below. You must be able to provide at least 16-bit lossless audio. We will only need the raw takes, no editing is required. Please when submitting your audition, include your first and last name in the file name.

SCRIPT: Spot 2: 30 SECONDS (25 seconds) Narrator: Two million people get married in America every year! (crowd claps as traditional wedding chapel bells resound in background) ...and yet, statistics show that almost HALF of these marriages will end in divorce (crowd shows sadness over this news: “boooo” and “aww” resound) ...BUT! It doesn’t have to be this way! (crowd sounds intrigued “oooh?”) Studies show that couples who make dating a regular thing stay together! (lightbulb sound effect) But, we get it. Life is busy and hectic, and going on the same old dates can get well...boring. ...That’s where comes in! (crowd cheers) Have fun falling in love all over again by signing on to for great date night ideas and join a national conversation about how true love can last a lifetime.
