Job Description

Language: American
Accent: North, ‘Urban, street’
Age: 25-30

Description:

Using a form of Slam poetry created bespoke for two trailers we require a credible and authentic American accent. The voice must be young, but confident, combative and have a ‘street’ edge to it that places it in a rap MC or hip-hop style.

The voice must have a great performative capability, and be able to take extensive direction in terms of delivery. They must authentically communicate a sense of drama, of psychological readiness for combat, and a swagger that underlies great confidence in the speaker’s ability.

The cadence and structure of our voiceover is extremely important to the overall sound, so the voice must be comprehensively familiar and ideally experienced in Rap, MC or hip-hop diction.
