Job Description

We're looking for someone who can do a WWII/ Depression Era style voice over. The kind of overdone, overly dramatic/enthusiastic style that you might have hear in those propaganda news reels that played before movies at that time. "Hear what I'm sayin', see... " That sort of thing.

Final piece will be somewhere around 90 seconds in length and have some sort of dramatic old time music to go with it.

I'm attaching the first half or so of the current script for audition purposes.

The things that are in quotes are lines that I am currently planning on displaying on the screen, so they might be points that deserve a bit extra umph.

Could be North American English or British English, but really what we are going for is that sort of "announcer accent" that they used back in the day... which is sort of it's own thing.

Note from job posting has been reviewed and approved by staff. recommends that you slate and name your audition file for this job posting to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
