Job Description

Hi -

I am looking for someone to produce some new liners and jingles for a new show that I am producing. The show name is "Night Train of Hits" and it is DJed by Dr. Music. Most of the background beds are train sounds including coming in and leaving the train station, whistles and bells and brakes squeals. Also, looking for some to be used in-between songs. The program will be voiced-tracked to allow local stations to add their own music and IDs. The format for this program is mainly oldies from the 60s through the 80s. But, there will be some breaks for other music to be played from our musical library.

Below are the liners/jingles that I need for the program. You are welcomed to make changes to the liners and add any additional liners or jingles as you deemed as necessary.

For final versions please deliver separate voice and bed/sound bytes tracks and also the final version that combines both.

Some Liners that I would need for the show:

You’re listing to the Night Train of Hits on……(bed for local station IDs)

The Night Train of Hits (spoken only)

The Night Train of Hits continues to roll on (with train going by).

The Number One Hit of today from …(year jingle will be added with the Voice Track and song)

Here's The Latest Club Dance Mix of the day right here on The Night Train of Hits.

The Night Train of Hits is now slipping onto a side track to let another train go by. So, while we are taking a break from rolling down the rails, let's listen to another special song from our musical library.

This is Dr Music and you’re listening to the Night Train of Hits on …..(bed for station ID)

Here's a Special Request from one of our listeners on the Night Train of Hits.

Another Special Dedication from one of our listeners on the Night Train of Hits.

A jingle with only the sound of a train coming in and going by ending in the distance.

If you want to write to Dr Music requesting some information about an artist or a group or requesting a dedication, please send an email to Please include your name and the station that you listen to the Night Train of Hits show.

Startup liner:
(Train standing by at the station) Welcome to the Night Train of Hits with your conductor, Dr. Music. (train whistle and bell signaling ready to roll)
I see by my pocket watch that we are on time and we need to leave the train station right now. So let’s get aboard and get the show rolling on the tracks with this timely hit. (train leaving the station sound byte)

Show ending liner:
Well, I see by my pocket watch that it is time for us to head for the rail yard for a well deserved rest. But, I will see you all the next time you are on board with us on the Night Train of Hits. Until then, “keep on rolling with the hits of yesterday and today and never forget them”. So Long for now (train entering the station sound byte).
