Looking for a dramatic, powerful, confident voice

The script is still being written, so we cannot give an exact word count but should be  about 5 minutes long.

In the past, the world has stood by and watched horrifying events taking place, only to find out that some intervention would have prevented the tragedy. The genocide against the Jews during the Second World War and Apartheid in South Africa are just a couple of examples. More recently, we all watched the Taliban group destroy the two giant, 2000-year old Buddha statues in March 2001. Perhaps we could have prevented them to execute their plan on September 11, 2001 if only people around the world had not acted indifferently to the destruction these historic statues.
