Job Description

We are working on a test of Spanish for non-native speakers. The Listening Comprehension section of this test includes listening to four texts (3 monologues and 1 dialog), preceded by instructions.

Instructions are about 15 sentences long. Each of the texts is between 250 and 350 words long.

Instructions should be read by a man, monologues 1 by a man, monologues 2 by a woman, monologues 3 by a man, and the Dialog by a man and a woman. All the voices are supposed to belong to native speakers of Spanish in their 40s. The voice of the Instructions must differ from that of the man reading the texts. Within the texts, the voices can be the same (just two actors, a male and a female) or different (several males and females). Having different voices is preferred, but not an absolute must, as it is a question of the budget.

Please provide a quote for ALL voices in one job (male and female), as it would be difficult to record the dialog in two sets.

The accent should be as neutral/international as possible, but Castilian is acceptable as well in one of the texts.
The voice for Instructions should be rather authoritative. The texts should be read in a neutral/narrative human tone, something like a college lecturer or radio narrator. The dialog can be a little more emotional, but not too much.

The work is to be delivered in five mp3 files (instructions + 4 texts) at 128 kbps.

The script is delivered upon request. If you have questions or need more information, please feel free to contact me.
