Job Description

On 5 Jun 2007, one of the members of my unit died in Iraq. I'm working on a memorial DVD and would like a voiceover for this project.

Please reference the below script. Changes may be made to the script for better flow etc... For obvious reasons, I'm looking for "somber, respectful, dignified" voice for this project.

Thank you very much,
James Daywalt

Special Agent Matthew Kuglics was assigned to the Anti-Terrorism Specialty Team for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 352, Lackland AFB, TX.

Special Agent Kuglics’ primary responsibility was rapid worldwide deployment anywhere U.S. Forces operate.

Special Agent Kuglics was born May 31, 1982, in Ohio. He graduated from Green High School, Green, Ohio, in 2000.

In August 2000, he entered on active duty and was assigned to Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, as a Satellite and Wideband Communications Apprentice.

In January 2003, he accepted a short tour deployment to Osan Air Base, Korea.

In June 2004, he graduated from the United States Air Force Special Investigations Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy, Brunswick, Georgia with a follow-on assignment to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

In Nov 06, he was assigned to the Anti-Terrorism Specialty Team at Lackland AFB, Texas.

Special Agent Kuglics major awards and decorations include;

Purple Heart
Air Force Commendation Medal with Valor device and 2 oak leaf clusters
Air Force Achievement Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters

Special Agent Kuglics died on 5 June 2007 in Kirkuk, Iraq, of wounds sustained when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. Matthew was on his second tour in Iraq when he died. He was killed along with another member of his team, Special Agent Ryan Balmer, of Mishawaka, Indiana.

No worries. No regrets. That was the motto of Matthew, who left home for the Air Force two months after graduating from Green High School.

Before Matthew left for Iraq, he told his father; ``I am stepping up to do this. I want to fight terrorism. I don't want some young guy my age who is married with children to possibly sacrifice his life.''

“Not for fame or reward, not lured by ambition or goaded by necessity, but in simple obedience to duty.”
