Job Description

Hello, everyone!

I am looking for non-union, versatile female and male voice over artists to help develop and define the attitude and character of our company. I need artists who can breathe life, sass, and attitude into our step-by-step scripts, which, at times, can be either on the racy or reserved side. I am looking voices that innately have a unique quality, and can deliver a script, whether it be on the dry or fun side, with overall friendliness, and personality. I am not looking for cartoon character voices, radio-commercial sounding voices, or fake accents.

Ideally, we are looking for NYC-based talent - though if you are able to work within our budget from your location, please submit a demo.

Our rate is currently $100 per half day if you are able to work on location with us in NYC. Please remember, you must be non-union to be accepted for the job. This job will most likely give you the opportunity to read many scripts, maybe even hundreds, over the course of the year.

I look forward to hearing from you all! Good Luck!

How to Stop a Nosebleed:

Although nosebleeds often look gory, they usually can be stopped in about 5 minutes.

You will need:

Step 1: With your thumb and index finger, firmly pinch the entire soft part of your nose just above the nostril.

Step 2: Sit or stand, and lean your head slightly forward.

Tip #1: Always keep your head above your heart when you have a nosebleed—never lie down.

Step 3: Breathe through your mouth.

Step 4: Hold this position for 5 minutes. If bleeding persists, continue holding this position for an additional 10 minutes.

WARNING: If your nose is still bleeding after 30 minutes of applying consistent pressure, seek medical attention immediately.

Step 5: Once the bleeding has stopped, moisten a clean tissue and wipe away any dried blood from below your nose.

Tip #2: If you get frequent nosebleeds, try running a humidifier in your bedroom at night.

Step 6: Refrain from blowing your nose for a day or two after a nosebleed, or you could accidentally start the bleeding again.

Did you Know? Over 90 percent of nosebleeds originate in the front of the nostrils—often simply from cold weather or high altitudes drying out the skin.
