Job Description

This voice over is an introduction to a 3 minute long interview with a mechanic, who suffered an accident during working on an elevator shaft. This film will be used for educational trainings for Thyssen Krupp Elevator world wide. The language should be clear, so it is easily understandable for people in China, or South America alike.
I will also attach a mp3 as a guide line to the pace of the film, that we have already edited.

THIS IS THE SCRIPT:

Greg Pyle is an apprentice mechanic in our Minneapolis branch in Minnesota, United States. He has been working with Thyssen Krupp Elevator for one and a half years. It is safe to say that May 16, 2011 is Greg’s most memorial day. While working on a temporary platform installing an elevator, a portion of the shaft wall fell on him. The fall protection he was wearing probably saved his life when he was knocked off the work platform. He is here to tell Stefan Herms-Haking, our worldwide safety manager at Thyssen Krupp Elevator and Mike Corey our safety manager for the Central Region the Americas the story of how this incident happened and his thoughts as he hung in his harness.
