Job Description

Hello, we need two short lines for a dialogue radio spot.
Spot is 1-week single-station use, small-mkt. Limited
budget for in-house production $50.00.

Situation features two moms talking about enrolling
their children in an upcoming Kindergarten program.
Please see script provided.

ONLY MOM#2 VOICE IS NEEDED. Other roles are cast.
Total copy for this role is about :10 seconds.

Talent would need to email a take or two for each line.
mp3 or .aif/wav. Spot will be produced Monday 8/6.
Auditions needed by end-of-day Friday. 8/3.

Mom 1: Hey, where are you guys off to?

Mom 2: We’re going school shopping. Charisse will be starting kindergarten and she needs a couple of things.

Mom 1: Let me make it easy for you….Charisse needs more than a couple things: she needs to enroll at Plymouth Educational Center.

Mom 2: Hmmm…isn’t that a private school?

Mom 1: No, girl, it’s a charter school. But it’s a public school – anyone can enroll.

It’s truly an amazing place because they cater to the different needs of their students. They have a full academic curriculum plus my kids are involved in art, music, sports and so much more!

And what’s also nice is that it’s next-door to my work at the DMC. I use their latch-key program and it makes my life a lot easier!

Ya know, they’re having a Kindergarten Round-up on Wednesday, August 22nd -- you can bring Charisse, meet the teachers, tour the school and enter to win a new Dell computer. So, there…your school shopping is DONE – now you owe me lunch!

Thank you!
