Job Description

Project background: The eLearning module gives sales learners insight to how to talk about green features of an apartment rental. The theme of the emodule is a reality show where leasing consultant contestants compete for the chance to host their own show. The audio that needs to be recorded is the voice of the contestant character, Lisa. Lisa is introduced to the audience through this self-spoken audio.

Lisa character profile: Female, young, a person new to her job role. This is an excerpt from the introduction to her character by the host of the show: " Lisa, ‘The Rookie,’ was pretty nervous during the first few weeks, being a newbie in a competition of champions. Once she realized the Expert Panel was there to help and not to judge, she slowly gained confidence. Lisa has a history of starting the first challenge of the week unsure of herself, but she has a knack for incorporating Expert Panel feedback into the following challenges to finish off strong. This soft-spoken, new Leasing Consultant may have a few things to teach the others in this final competition." Please see full script for a background of content that leads up to Lisa's audio recording.

Audio Script to be recorded: “At first I was really nervous because it seems like there is so much to remember- it’s a bit overwhelming. Then, I decided to try to connect with the customers on a personal level to discover their needs. Once I did that, I was able to relax, making it easier to recommendation solutions that fit their unique needs. I also started to focus on the Expert Panel feedback, not just for me but the feedback for others as well. I watched how Casey related to his customers. He really knows his stuff…but don’t tell him I said that (giggle).
I’m feeling confident going into this last week.”

Script may need small changes before recording.
