Job Description

MBPN is a parody of "Sailor Moon" style magical girl anime, as well as bad Mary Sue self-insert fanfiction. The premise is that "Natalie," a nerdy and somewhat self-absorbed high school student, has written, animated and voiced the cartoon herself. In Natalie's world, she's a popular and practically all-powerful superhero who saves the world with her mystical powers and enviable beauty.

We're casting an understudy for the role of Natalie, who voices all of the characters throughout each episode (somewhat badly). You'll be playing numerous roles, but all of them are essentially the same role (Natalie).

This role would also require you to sing a short theme song. It would not, however, require you to sing it well. In fact, we'd prefer if you were off-key. :)

This is an animated web series which has currently made it into the "prime time" lineup at Channel 101 NY, a competitive mini-film festival type thing where the audience votes on their favorite shows to create another episode.
We are recording dialogue for episode 2.
You can view episode 1 here:

This is technically a backup track in the event that our current voice actor is unavailable. There's no guarantee that we will actually use your voiceover in the finished product, but you'll get paid either way. If we do end up using your voice, there's an excellent chance that we'll move forward using your voice for any future episodes (which you would also be payed for).

We would need a very quick turnaround on this recording. We would like to receive the files on or before March 4th.
We'd also like someone who is able to commit to recording additional voice overs for possible future episodes once a month. We'd require these recordings within a week's notice.
