Job Description

This VO track is for a corporate promotional video. Distribution methods will be web and DVD mailers. Final video will not be sold for profit or broadcast. We should receive minor changes to this script by the end of the day Tues Oct 23. We need the track by Thursday afternoon at the latest so we are posting this version now to get the ball rolling.

Experience. Nothing can substitute for it. For any company, it is a key ingredient for success. For the makers of the finest school buses transporting millions of children each day, experience has led to a legacy of excellence for eighty years.

But in order to understand our present and where we are headed for tomorrow ... it is necessary to take a glimpse at our past.

In Nineteen-Twenty-Seven, Laurence Luce (pron. "loose"; rhymes with 'moose'), a Ford auto dealer, built and sold his first school bus, and with the support of his wife Helen and their sons George, Buddy and Joe, the Blue Bird bus company was born and on its way to building a future of success.

As with any business, adapting to change is an important key to reflecting the growing needs of its customers. While Blue Bird has changed hands over the years, the Traxis (pron. "Tracks-isss"; rhymes with 'miss') Financial Group has returned Blue Bird to its family-oriented traditions by focusing on its core industry, and making a re-commitment to customer satisfaction.
