Job Description

This is just a regular PSA, end result can be either produced or dry, the script just needs to be spoken to convey a message of importance and urgency.

The Following announcement is brought to you by your Embry-Riddle Campus Safety, Office of Crime Prevention. The Safety Department has been receiving reports in reference to stolen bicycles on campus. The majority these thefts have been bicycles that were secured with cable locks and were cut. Owners failed to use Kryptonite "U" Locks instead.

So how can you protect your bicycle?

1) By Registering your bicycle with parking services.

2) Reporting any suspicious activity to Campus Safety immediately.

3) Never leave your bicycle unattended.

4) By leasing or purchasing a "U" lock, that cannot be cut with a bolt cutter from the Parking Services Office

5) Know hot to properly use your bicycle lock, and secure the lock around the frame of the bicycle, not just the wheel.

Campus Safety reminds you, don't become a victim of bicycle theft! Lock it up every time you leave it alone.

Campus Safety can be reached by calling extension 6480 on campus phones, or area code 386, 226-6480.

This safety reminder was brought to you by the Embry-Riddle Campus Safety Department, and your Campus Radio station, 99.1 Eagles FM.

About Us

99.1 WIKD-LP is a low-power FM station located in Daytona Beach, FL. The station is owned by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (so yes, we are basically a college station), with open format programming. All upbeat and sarcastic styles are welcome. We are looking for an energetic, edgy, and somewhat rash image for our station (after all we are college kids) that will set us apart in the Daytona Beach area.
