Job Description

Dear Applicants,

First a quick thank you for your interest in this fun little project.

Here are the details:

* Authentic Japanese voice for a basic 'speaking' toy (voice type required is a friendly monster).

* Between 25 and 30 short phrases (150 words in total) totalling 50 to 60 seconds (max) of audio.

* All the phrases are in simple English and require basic translation into the required Japanese.

* English versions of the audio will be provided as a voice reference - they don't need to be voice matched, just on the same kind of 'monstery' wavelength.

* The job will involve self-direction - so you can record at your own pace without interference (although we will of course be on hand if you have any questions during the recording process).

* For the successful applicant, final recordings will be required by the 9th November.

* The completed versions will need to be supplied as standard 16-bit 44khz wav files (easily uploaded to our web server)

* A full buyout of the recorded audio is required, with all rights of use passed to our company.

* A quick demo based upon the very short script provided would be much appreciated.

* A quote for this project directly based upon the above information would also be appreciated.

For your reference, a demo of the English version of the required audio recording can be downloaded here.

A big thank you for your consideration of applying your skills to this project. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away.

We look forward to viewing your responses and listening to your demos.
