You have been prescribed EPREX. Your doctor will decide what dose you’ll require and how often you will need to inject EPREX based on your weight and how you respond to the treatment.
In this video, we’ll show you how EPREX works and teach you how to give yourself an injection using the EPREX Pre-filled Syringe with PROTECS Needle Guard.

The kidneys have several functions: they are responsible for removing waste products from your body, and they are the main producers of a hormone called erythropoietin. Erythropoietin tells your bone marrow to make more red blood cells. Red blood cells are responsible for carrying oxygen to all the tissues in your body. Your tissues get the energy they need from the oxygen.
Normally there are enough red blood cells to carry all the oxygen your body needs. When your body needs more oxygen, your kidneys produce more erythropoietin, which goes to your bone marrow and tells it to make more red blood cells.
