Job Description

The "Play It Safe!" video project is a series of 14 child-safety educational videos that will be used primarily in the Ft. Worth, TX public school district.

These videos will be part of a classroom presentation to students about the risks and dangers of various forms of abuse. Each video will be approximately 8 to 10 minutes in length.

The various safety topics primarily revolve around issues of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and healthy relationships (sexting, cyber-bullying, harassment, and dating violence).

Each video is tailored appropriately (using appropriate language and visuals) to each age group.

The "3rd Grade: Mia" audition is for the role of a junior high, African-American girl named "Mia".

The 3rd grade video is a motion graphics based video with characters that include "Baby Professor", "Announcer", "Mia", and "Marcus".

We are looking for a regular junior high girl voice. She is up-beat and friendly. She also needs to be able to deliver friendly-sarcasm at time (not derogatory). Don't need over the top. Subtlety is better. Mia must sound earnest, and authentic. "Pushy" is not what we're going for.

This is a non-profit, educational video (for sale, not for air).

This is strictly a non-union, full buy-out job. No residuals are included or part of this job.

We are paying $400 for the voice of the "Mia".

The word count comes to 211 words.

Thank you in advance, and I look forward to hearing your submissions.
