Job Description

I have a client who wants auditions pronto! I'm casting eleven voices for this spot. We need to cast talent from three demographic groups: young people (18 - 26) of any ethnic or racial background (including Caucasian), African Americans (18 - 40), and Asian Americans (18 - 40).

ISDN or local Tucson talent preferred, but I know that's asking a lot on short notice, so we're certainly open to anyone with a quality recording chain and "phone patch" capability. Even if that means holding the phone up while you're recording. Note that technical quality is a must.

This is VO for a TV spot to run in two markets: San Antonio and Austin, Texas. Each part is less than ten seconds. In fact, all but one (Main VO) are single lines.

Each talent will be paid $150. I'm told they want a different talent for each part. Interested? If so...

Please record your audition MP3 as soon as possible from the script, below.

These must sound like real people. Not actors or announcers. The client would like you to record the entire script, below (yes -- all eleven parts), three times. Just read the script all the way through. One time with lots of emotion, one time a little less-so, and one more time as if you're thinking to yourself, introspectively. Please don't change the copy, but if you want to put some music behind it or some other "watermark" to avoid piracy, feel free, though that's certainly not required. :^) The sooner the better on these, please.

Email me if you have any questions (address below). Once the talent is selected, I'd expect to record the real thing this week. Yes -- we will be directing the sessions in real time, one way or another.

Thank you!
