Job Description

I'm a student from the Netherlands and I'm making a a short film I'm submitting to the Dutch film school.

I needed some voice-over work for my project and I just couldn't find any people here that spoke English (North American)

Please let me know your rates if you're interested.

I have two sets of dialogue:

This is someone from the hospital personnel that informs a woman on how her husband died. Male or Female voice, no preference.

SCRIPT

(V.O.)
The toxicology report concludes your husband was taking
powerful anti-depressants. It’s unfortunate he didn’t take
the SSRI’s his doctor prescribed for him and instead went out
and bought something himself.

(V.O. Cont’D)
The drug in question is called Nardil, which falls under the MAOI
category. These drugs come with distinct dietary restrictions.
Food or drinks with high levels of tyramine in it can prove to be
Deadly, though it is rare. In your husband’s case the hypertensive
reaction from the tyramine resulted in a stroke.

(V.O. Cont’D)
It was the aged cheese excessively consumed by your husband
at his forty-second birthday party that contained these deadly levels
of tyramine.

---------

This one is a male doctor 30-40's, this voice is heard through the telephone. He's trying to convince the woman to talk to her husband.

SCRIPT

DOCTOR
The problem is that he is not going to listen to me, he will mistrusts
all medical personnel. And he won’t accept the prescriptions I give him.
The best thing for now is for you to talk to him, convince
him these anti-depressants can really help him, together with
cognitive behavioral therapy there’s a good chance we can reduce
his anxiety and control the symptoms of his hypochondria to a
manageable degree.

DOCTOR
This is something he has to want himself, you can’t force a treatment like this… Talk to him.
