Job Description

I am in production of a Saturday oldies radio program called Rock Remembered that is just in it's 3rd episode and am developing a fictional production engineer... Olga.

Olga will be used to transition to commercial break.

Olga is one of those modern women in a man's world. She takes liberties and gets the last say.

Olga is likable, unique, and will be the audience's insider to the program. She is the indispensable pain in the butt that everyone in the office can't do without.

She likes Ron, but he is a bit of a know it all, and above all, she is not particularly impressed by radio.

Is that enough to chew on?

The transition from Ron on Rock Remembered will be...

Okay, take it away Olga"

Olga:

1. "You're listening to Rock Remembered, where you never, ever hear the same song twice. Not because he plans it that way. It just that he's so disorganized, he can't find anything after he's used it. Isn't that just like a man? We'll be right back."

2. "Stay tuned. Ron's not going anywhere. It's not like he's going to do something. Do you think he could take the trash out while I play these commercials? Do something useful? Yeah, like right. We'll be right back."

3. "Take it away Olga. Take it away Olga. He gets to sit in there and talk about all that neat music stuff. I play the commercials. And just because I'm not that old doesn't mean I don't know neat stuff to. Go ahead ask me somethin'. Ask me about what Britney did today. The things I could tell you about Lindsay Lohan. (Sigh) We'll be right back."

This job will consist of 1 page of lines similar to those above which will be sent to you once selected.

If you have some ideas on additional lines, feel free. Its your personalty, so use it.

If the character endears herself to the audience as I hope she will, this would create additional work on Rock Remembered.

Budget is a factor. You can listen to Ron's delivery style and get a feel for the show by going to www.klkl.fm and clicking on the Rock Remembered sample audio. It's about 4 minutes long.

Thanks,
Ron Hancock
