Job Description

Us at here at Gorilla are creating a documentary that takes place in Ghana Africa. It is a project for a non-profit organization called the Hovde Foundation that helps free trafficked children from slavery. The way most of trafficking happens in Ghana is through trickery. Men show up in villages and offer pay for parents boys to send them to a school or learn a trade, etc. Many times the parents unwittingly sell their children into slavery thinking they are sending them to a better life. This is our story.

The tale we are telling here centers around a true story of a middle aged single mother who unknowingly did just this. She is narrating her experience and mistakes, trying to bring awareness and knowledge to people all over. This middle aged mother narrater is what we are looking for...someone who will read in english and yet allow a thick Ghanian accent to flow through. This is quite an emotional piece as you will be playing a mother who has lost her children. On top of that you are helpless to bring them home and it's partially your fault they are gone.

Our audience will be people interested in helping fund the organization to build more schools and help free more children.

As far as audio file format, we will be looking for it in 48 kHz.

Again, cannot stress the importance of a thick Ghanian accent in English enough.
