Job Description

We need a Spanish translation AND voiceover dubbing for two English animated videos (1:53 and 2:46 in length).

The project is for a non-profit that's doing big things in public education. They have a movie coming out in September based on their work (starring Maggie Gylenhaal!) and so they need a video ready to explain what they do to new people. This video will get a lot of nation-wide exposure and publicity due to the movie.

We're looking for a CONVERSATIONAL, heartfelt, and caring male or female voice! The voice should sound like a young parent in their 30's. We want a voice that sounds like a real, concerned, heartfelt, caring Mom or Dad. No forced or fake sounding voices. You should sound like a real person, not a radio announcer.

Please record a short demo from the script or we won't be able to show your audition to the client!

We have 2 finished videos with English narration. Ideally, we'd like to send you both video files and for you to send us back 2 Spanish voiceovers that fit within the timeframe of the original video.

We also can send you both English scripts for you to translate from.

If the Spanish translation runs too long and can't fit into the video, then let us know and we can maybe find a way to re-time the animation.

Let us know if you have any questions, thank you so much!

Note from This job posting has been reviewed and approved by staff. recommends that you slate your name and record a portion of the client’s script for auditioning. Please title the audition file with your name to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
Note from Client is seeking translation in addition to voiceover. Please bid appropriately.
