Job Description

Your character:
Yvonne Stetson, is a regular customer of Office Depot. She has just received her order. In the case of paper she received, a few of the reams were damaged. At this point she just wants a refund for the damaged reams so she calls in for assistance.

The emotional state or level of each response is noted throughout the script.

Throughout the conversation you will be delivering positive/friendly responses when things go well. You will also respond by delivering “negative consequence scenes” as you become frustrated or impatient with the agent or the time it is taking to get resolution. At times, the scene will heighten or escalate and you may ask to speak with a supervisor. In these cases we want your character to sound believable and not over-dramatic.

Please refer to the notes within the script for direction.

Note: You have a bit of license with the script to make it sound more conversational—especially on the heighten scenes. However please take care to make sure all numerical data—addresses, phone or account numbers etc, are recorded correctly.

Finally, please carefully “slate” each scene with the entire filename and pause 1-3 seconds after each slate. Although you can provide one .mp3 file, this will help us clip up the recordings.
