Job Description

We are looking to hire voice talent for "David," a guy in his early twenties.

I have attached a rough draft of the script so you can provide a quote. Minor words might change prior to script signoff, but the clip count should remain the same. Your tone should be friendly and conversational, relating to the learner like you're one professional talking to another.

We are looking for very quick turnaround on this project and are hoping to have everything recorded by the end of this week or early next week.

Please see our other postings on this project as well. We have a lot of characters and would consider hiring the same actor for more than one role, provided the voices are different.

SCRIPT

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
Nice to meet you! Jan just mentioned Platform-A—can you clarify exactly what that is?

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
So AOL’s in the advertising business now, huh? Interesting. I have to be honest, though—the only reason I came to this meeting is because I’m golf buddies with Jan’s manager. I’m just not clear on how AOL can help my client sell cars—no offense.

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
That all sounds good—but it’s a lot to take in.

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
I think I need you to elaborate. You said something about “best-in-class targeting.” “Targeting” sounds like—well, it sounds like you’re hunting something. What does hunting have to do with advertising?

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
But what if my “target” customers aren’t on AOL sites? How are they supposed to see these ads I’m paying you for?

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
This is almost sounding too good to be true!

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
We’ve got to get going soon—but one more thing. How do you measure the success of an ad? In other words—how will I know what I’m paying you for?

AUDIO SCRIPT – DAVID:
That’s an excellent tip—I’m going to remember that in this sales meeting! Listen, thanks so much for your help. Good luck with your poster!
