Job Description

We are looking to hire voice talent for "Tom" a white man in his late fifties or early sixties.

I have attached a rough draft of the script so you can provide a quote. Minor words might change prior to script signoff, but the clip count should remain the same. Your tone should be friendly and conversational, relating to the learner like you're one professional talking to another.

We are looking for very quick turnaround on this project and are hoping to have everything recorded by the end of this week or early next week.

Please see our other postings on this project as well. We have a lot of characters and would consider hiring the same actor for more than one role, provided the voices are different.

Welcome to AOL! I can tell you everything you want to know about AOL’s history. The main thing to know is that we started out as innovators and we’re innovators to this day. Back when we began, we were pioneers of the as-yet untapped Internet usage market. We brought the Internet to the private sector—essentially, we got America online! And not only that—we pioneered social networking technologies that are still relevant today, like AIM, online communities, and e-mail. Can you believe there was ever a time when every household didn’t have e-mail? There was, but AOL changed that forever.
See what I mean when I say we began as innovators? We weren’t afraid to blaze the trail back then, and we’re not afraid now. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Well, I’d better not keep you on your busy first day! I’m sure, if you haven’t already, you’ll be hearing all about our transformation and our new business model. Good luck!

Oh, hey, have you met Susan? This is her first day, so I’m showing her around, introducing her to a few people. We just spoke with Gary about the goals and values team meeting coming up. Susan’s a quick study – she already knows them.

Yep, you got it. These values guide everything we do at AOL; they direct who we are as a company and how we conduct ourselves internally and outwardly. And while values aren’t as concretely measured as corporate goals, they’re just as important to our success.
