Job Description

Compassion International, is a Christian child development charity, based in Colorado Springs. Every year we run a Compassion Sunday church event, to raise awareness of child poverty, and to encourage people to sponsor a child. This year, the film we are going to use, is about a couple of girls from the Dominican Republic. Ginsely recently graduated from university and now works as a fully qualified dentist. She grew up in extreme poverty and has triumphed over it all, thanks to her sponsor and her local compassion project. The second girl, Karina, is 9 years old, and she is much like the young Ginsely. Her story is beginning to change as she has recently been sponsored. She is able to attend her local project, and receive the benefits of Compassion's Holistic child development. She hopes to become a dentist, like Ginsely.

We need a short voiceover, read with a light Latino accent. It needs to be a fairly quick read, as the video is short.

The script may change slightly, but it won't be more than 200 words. I have included the first section as a sample. It is important for the auditions to record this sample, as the client from Compassion has asked to hear how the script sounds, and can't sign off without hearing the auditions.

Many thanks!

Ginsely reads = Jin-selly
Karina reads = Ka-ree-na
