Job Description

What I'm looking for: We are currently replacing the phone system at our restaurant. When we're finished, we'll need a new recording to play when someone is on hold and a separate script when they call outside of normal business hours.

The We're Not Here script is relatively simple- A small introduction, a reading of our address and hours and directions on how to reach us on the web. All told, fewer than 100 words and none of them are very tricky. (Just remember, it's Gren-itch, not Green-witch!)

Your voice will run over an upbeat, Django-esque bit of old time guitar. I've attached a sample of the music. Keep in mind, it may not be our final choice, but it's likely to be similar. The music volume will be sort of low, so don't feel like you have to compete. We're not looking for anything super professional, so low bids will be prioritized.

The "On Hold" script is slightly more complex and offers detail about the shop and our menu. 526 words, upbeat, but this time without music.

SCRIPT

We're Not Here:
Thank you for calling Peanut Butter & Company, New York’s world famous peanut butter sandwich shop. We are located in the heart of Greenwich Village at 240 Sullivan Street, between Bleecker and West 3rd Street.. We are open Sunday through Thursday, 11 A.M. to 9 P.M and Friday and Saturday from 11 A.M. until 10 P.M. For additional information, holiday hours and special bookings, please call back during regular business hours or visit us on the web at ilovepeanutbutter.com.

On Hold: The script is attached, As it's a longer script with some specialized formatting, I had to attach as a .doc.

About the Client

Peanut Butter & Co. is dedicated to making the world a more delicious place, one peanut butter sandwich at a time!

Here are some of their famous sandwiches:

Lunchbox Special
Our freshly ground peanut butter, spread thick over a layer of strawberry or grape jam. For something different, try it with raspberry or apricot preserves. Either way, it's everybody's favorite.

The Fluffernutter®
Remember this recipe? Freshly ground peanut butter on one side and gobs of Marshmallow Fluff® spread on the other. It's heaven.

Peanut Butter Cup
Our freshly ground peanut butter, kissed by a chocolately layer of Nutella. Who hasn't craved this one before?

The Elvis
A grilled peanut Butter sandwich, stuffed with bananas and honey. Try it with bacon for that extra indulgence. Long live the King!
