Job Description

FRAUD SCENARIO

This audition is for the role of Caller.

In the scenario, a call center agent receives a phone call from a customer who begs her to issue him a one-month free membership to CineStream, an online streaming movie service. This script is based on a real phone call conversation for a company offering a monthly subscription. For this reason, the caller profiles are described to match the profiles of the original callers so that the calls will retain as much of their authenticity as possible. This reenactment will be used to provide an example of a fraudulent customer request in a corporate training course on security. The final product should be in MP3 format.

-Caller profile: male in his 30’s, low/deep (but audible) voice, and urban dialect/sound. He rambles in his speech, speaking quickly, one sentence moving right into the next without pause. He’s trying to manipulate the agent into giving him a free month membership by being sugary sweet and begging earnestly. It sounds as though his “speech” is a bit rehearsed.

-Agent Profile: Young woman in her 20’s-30’s, polite and upbeat voice of a call center agent.
