Job Description

I'm looking for an African American voice actor or actress, to voice my character Martha, in a 5/6 minute pilot of mine called "What A Prikk". "What A Prikk" is about three dysfunctional animals; Prikk, Jon and Martha, and their awful lives.

It is a very offensive and inappropriate show and you must be comfortable with that. There is cursing. Martha is a very obnoxious woman who thinks she's the most beautiful woman in the world. Think Rasputia from Norbit as far as the attitude. I put I am looking for male actors as well, maybe someone can come up with a voice I like. I thought the voice of the very obese woman, Jabba played by Big Boy from the first Deuce Bigallo movie was great.

Budget: ≈$100

Why so low?: I have been in touch with Comedy Central about the idea of the show "What A Prikk" and the guy I know there (head of development) thinks it's very funny and edgy! After I finish this 5/6 minute short, I'm going to show them and from there they will decide if they want to buy it. Martha also only has about 5 lines in this 5 minute script.

Quotes from Martha

"Bye Prikk, have fun being bored you stupid head. "

"Honey, I gots me peeps to meet! In fact, I’m meeting with a modeling agency about a new shoot their doing!"

Thanks for your time, and I can't wait to hear your voices!

About the Client

My name is Stephen M. Levinson. I'm a freelance Flash Animator, Screenplay Writer and artist from New York. I've been using Flash for a couple of years and use it to produce all my animations. I enjoy writing screenplays for animation and love creating funny and interesting characters, as well as situations to put them in. I recently wrote an 11-minute and 5/6
minute screenplay for my cartoon "What A Prikk" and have gotten a great response from it! "Ace & Aqua" is my first real short film and I've gotten great feedback from it as well! Now that I look back on A&A, I can see that I have really improved my quality of animation since then! More recently I've done work for ABC Family (Slacker Cats), G4 TV (Attack of the show) and BET (Bufu). I've worked for a couple companies such as Animax, Frederator, The Wow Factor, and Smorgasbord Productions. I hope to add many more companies and projects to my list and to work on a variety of different cartoons!
