Job Description

Project Overview:
This script is for an animated infographic video explaining crime statistics and urging Oregonians to support reform of their system. Oregon currently overcriminalizes and overincarcerates, which is in opposition to the trend we're seeing all over the rest of the country. This project is for a non-profit organization hoping to educate people with some web videos and animated data, this being the first in a possible series.

Lawmakers in Oregon.
Politically active Oregonians.
Law enforcement community in Oregon.
Influencers generally.

Audio File Format:
.mp3 or anything else easily dropped into a video.

Artistic Direction:
We're looking for someone who sounds tough on crime. A sheriff. A judge. Someone along those lines. Someone who sounds authoritative, trustworthy, and tough. When I say "sheriff," I'm not talking about Andy from Mayberry. Someone who sounds like they'd live and work in Oregon. You don't need to be a cowboy lone ranger sheriff, but just someone who sounds strong on crime, authoritative, knowledgable, and ready to catch some bad guys and protect the public. We don't want a fake superhero accent or a weird detective voice from the 1950s, just something contemporary and normal.

Special Requests:
We'd like to hear your best "tough on crime" voice. Don't make it cartoonish or pretend to be Clint Eastwood, but we're looking for a strong voice to explain some policies some might misconstrue as being squishy on crime.
