Job Description

Looking for a straightforward read, with natural personality and low on inflection.

This is a radio-style script interspersed with interviews. I'm awaiting final approval on the script- the attached is a sample. There are about 40 pages like this one, about 1/2 with extensive interviews rather than just the narrator.

Please find a portion of the script below for audition purposes. Full script available in attachment.

NARRATOR: In the alcove to the right of the front desk, you’ll find two sketches by Alberto Giacometti. Giacometti is best known for his sculptures of impossibly tall and thin human figures. Like Joan Miró- whose work is nearby- he was a key player in the Surrealist movement.

These two works are part of a series of lithographs called Derrier le Miroir, or, Behind the Mirror. Giacometti sketched them in his studio in the 1950s during a particularly introspective phase of his life. The one on the left depicts the studio itself, and the one on the right portrays a seated male. He drew directly onto transfer paper with a lithographic crayon. This technique makes it impossible to erase, so every line Giacometti put down stayed on the paper.
