Job Description

Note from Voices.com - Client has selected and paid for talent via the SurePay system. Thank you.

I have a 200 page book that I need to be converted into an audio book.

The book is written in an easy conversational and entertaining style, so the voice must match.

Since this is written in my voice, I can only accept bids from North American male talent that can speak without a noticeable accent - similar to the national news anchors.

The final draft of the book will be completed by June 27th and the audio book project must be completed within 2 weeks after delivery of the finalized book.

Samples of your voice are definitely a must to help me narrow my search, but before the final decision will be made, an audio sample read-thru of one of the pages will be required.

I have attached a draft of Chapter one of the book.

Chapter 1.
Introduction- I Barely Lifted A Finger To Put This Course Together!

Several months ago, I had this great idea that I was going to take a bunch of
years in the business consulting business and that I was going to take those
years and those experiences and put them all into a manual. This manual
would allow me to bring my message to so many more people because I would
be catering to many kinds of businesses and business people.
The idea for this book was a beautiful thing. I was going to show the small
business world how they could outsource certain parts of their business
operations. No, I’m not talking about sending equipment out to a mechanic or a
machinist to be fixed, either. Instead, this type of outsourcing would be for
most any type of business operation. You know, marketing, sales tracking,
human resources, administrative, customer service, bookkeeping, etc.
I knew this would be a valuable topic because I know many of you who are
small business owners were just looking at that list of operations and quietly
saying “I do that” for most or all of that list. I understand; I’ve been there too
and most of us in small business have to start somewhere, right?
It’s that free, independent spirit that drives small business and it’s the time it
takes to wear all of those hats that drives our friends and loved ones crazy, or
even ourselves. Let me pose a couple of quick questions.

* How many of you who are small business owners feel like you have less
time now than before, when you had some sort of traditional job?
* How many of you who are or who want to be small business owners
dismiss the time and work issue because it’s still better to be your own
boss?
* How many of you who are small business owners who have plenty of time
to spare are making the kind of money in your business that you are
capable of?
