Job Description

This is for a :60 radio spot that will air in Michigan this fall. It is for Michigan's Office of Highway Safety Planning (the State Police) and will be marketed to male drivers primarily 16-25. This audition is open to men of any ethnicity between the ages of 25-65. Non union.

There are two roles you can read for - please feel free to read for both if you like although they are considerably different. Each role pays a one time payment of $300 for your recording and studio usage. Ideally, you should have an ISDN line or Source Connect, but this is not an absolute. *Please indicate before your audition if you have either. Copy is attached below.

Role 1 - the trucker:
You might want to supply 1-2 reads just to show your range for this. Must sound like a real trucker. Do not try to be funny or over the top. This is a character read, but not meant to be silly. The message is very serious.

Role 2 - the VO:
Must have a credible, confident voice and one that tells a story. Not "announcery."

Thanks and good luck.
