Job Description

We are looking for an authentic 25-45 year old male voice in the style of a British or Australian narrator for a nature documentary. The sound of Bear Grylls or Steve Irwin would be a great guidance for the sound we are looking for - think less National Geographic, more Discovery Channel. This isn't an educational experience - It's a chance to witness intense, ravenous hockey players and fans, unleashed into the wild.

You can convey your excited and intense passion and awe for this rare sporting event -- you live for this.

The voice should be compelling and engaging. The voice is taking the script seriously, and in that vein we will achieve the deadpan comedy energy we are looking for.

Naming the audition files with your name would be very helpful

Here are the details:
- $1000 budget range, priority will be given to lower priced auditions as we are budget-challenged on this.
- the fee is all-in for your time, studio costs, escrow fees and 1 year northeast regional license, across all media
- we need you to patch in to our studio ISDN, or be a Boston local candidate
- I will need to know your availability over the next 3 weeks, and you must have daytime availability to record with us
- we must have the ability to make revisions in case of last minute copy changes within a week or so of the record date (we include this in every job but have never had to use it)

Note from Voices.com: Client has indicated need to provide live direction if possible. Please include information regarding options for live direction (phone patch, ISDN, SourceConnect, SKYPE, etc.) as part of your quote.

Note from Voices.com: This job posting has been reviewed and approved by Voices.com staff. Voices.com recommends that you slate your name and record a portion of the client’s script for auditioning. Please title the audition file with your name to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
