Job Description

I previously posted that the job was 9-12 minutes so if you're reading this, that's one reason why I'm reposting now that I've realized the script is longer along with a better description below.

Tough guy Chicago... but a real voice. Can not sound like acting. Has to sound authentic. The voice will be inside a video sales letter that is text, image, and even some random video clips.

Our Mr. X is a former Chicago guy. Former bookie who now sells his "picks" to online subscribers. His voice not only needs to capture the character, but needs to exude confidence just up to the point of cocky, but without going over the line. The listener needs to trust him, and trust his back story, all while feeling that confidence that he delivers the goods.

The word count might be wrong in the description below because I didn't have the script then, but now that I do, the word count is 3669.

Would like to have the voice by Friday with the tight deadline the client has.

Note from This job posting has been reviewed and approved by staff. recommends that you slate your name and record a portion of the client’s script for auditioning. Please title the audition file with your name to assist the client in selecting an appropriate candidate.
