Job Description

We are looking for a Japanese adult male voice for our client, Maxava, for video that will appear on the web.

The script can be downloaded above and consists of 2 columns; an English translation and a Japanese translation. We need the voice over for the Japanese translation.

There are a few phrases and terms in the script that require the following pronunciation:

1. “Maxava” is the name of the business and is pronounced “Max-ah-vah”. The “ah” sounds rhyme with the “a” sound in the word “car”.

2. “IBM-i” is pronounced just like the letters “IBM – eye”

3. “ERP”, “SMB” and iOS” are pronounced just like the letters also

You can watch a video that shows how to pronounce “Maxava” and “IBM-I” here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zuiMerT080

Please pause for 2-3 seconds between each section of the voice over shown in the table’s cells in the script. This will help our editor (who doesn’t speak Japanese) clearly identify which sections of the voice over match up with the video. For example, there should be a 2-3 second pause between:

We need to ensure that even with the pauses specified above, that the voice over flows naturally.

Duration: The overall length of the voice over (not including the 2-3 second pauses) must be 1 minute 45 seconds.

Budget: $150 USD

File Type: 320kbps mp3
