Job Description

Sorry guys, there's been a change in direction. I am going through all the auditions that have been sent--THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your time and effort, especially in this busy holiday season. PLS note the new audition deadline of Jan 9.

We are now looking for a younger sounding voice--more late 20s - mid 30's. As if you were auditioning for a brand like Timberland or a "Patagonia-lite." The read is still conversational.

Here's the script. Thank you in advance for auditioning. I've found it's too hard to thank people personally, so I'll just say how much I appreciate it now.

BTW--a few have tried to contact me. My email is joa@lairdchristianson.com.

Happy New Year. and thank you,

PS--Please do not send lengthy descriptions about your technical capabilities as I just prefer to hear your voice at this initial stage. I will assume that you either have professional studio capabilities, or are near enough to a studio that we can record you. Thank you.

You're not the first to come here.

Nor will you be the last.

But there are places on Kaua'i that can make you feel as if you're the only one.

There's a saying among seasoned travelers… “Take nothing but pictures.
Leave no trace behind.”

Hawaii's Island of Discovery.
