Job Description

We are looking for approximately three minutes of narration for a documentary.

You will be reading segments from an autobiographical manuscript, as the voice of the author Stanley Gurcze.

Its the late 1970's and Stanley is a the ultimate hitchhiker. He has spent at least 15 years on the road with no particular destination in mind. Stanley is not on the road because alcoholism or drugs have left him destitute. He's not a hobo nor a bum. Instead, he is a traveler whose ambitions seldom include working for a living. Also, Stanley has no feet, or shins.

His cigarette smoking habits and time on the the road have left this 50-year-old Ohio native sounding a bit weathered. Nevertheless, he has a sharp mind and is relatively well read. The pitch of his voice is medium-deep.

Within the attached script is a link to a photo of Stanley.

Script available in attachment by clicking the Download link. You will need to download the script if creating a custom demo.

Please note you are not expected to read the entire script and that it is provided so that you know what the project entails and are able to quote accurately.

We will need a voice-over recorded and delivered within 10 days of the response deadline.
