Job Description

We need a male voice actor for the animated character 'Gash' in Tarboy II.

Update
Note: There have been quite a few auditions moving more towards a dweeby sounding character, we want Gash to be a likeable young adult, (although he may look twiggy, he's not a nerd.) Please see below - we've made minor adjustments to the description to help.

Update

His voice - we're looking for a young adult voice, optimistic sounding and playfull.

We have included a rough comic strip of the script below as well as some images of his design.

Test Script Below:

*Tarboy has just invaded the floor where Gash is stationed - Gash discovers that Tarboy means to kill him and goes off on one of his thoughtful tangents...

Updated direction

Gash: (pondering) What would Dad tell me to do in this situation?

Dad: Next time these kids are giving you grief, you get your hand like THIS, you aim for the neck and you go WHACK into their esophagus. Trust me son, those girls will never give you trouble again!

Gash: (confident, cool and collected.) Yeah. Let's see how you take a whack to the esophagus.

*Cut to shot of Gash running and screaming

Gash: (high pitched, squealy and beserk) Ahhhhh! He has no neck!! He has no neck!!

Update
You can really go nuts on the screaming section, as this is the defining nature of Gash - he's calm one moment, then a complete mess the next.

*Auditions are also welcome for the Dad voice - we are holding auditions for this character as well.

+Although the characters are robots, we require human sounding voices. No electronic filters either please.

^The script is not finalised, so the word count may vary. Please quote for aprox. 500 - 700 words.

Update
#Please; no heavy English/ Australian accents.
