Are you interested in getting involved in radio station? Have you ever wanted to get hands on
experience in areas such as production, promotion, programming, DJing, hosting a program, sales,
and other aspects of radio? If so, here's your opportunity to become involved in BCFM 93.2 fm

His volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers

Adults (19-35) Large Group (11+)
Adults (40+) Small Group (2-10)


Most of the volunteers carry out a minimum of three hours per week, and range in age from 19 to 40.

We are looking for volunteers with the following skills :

What do you do at the station? "I select and Producer the broadcast on
Saturdays at 9 to 10 pm FIESTA FOREVER and 10 to 11 p.m. I call it "Mr.Willy Curbelo." I used to host a program called "REACTORXTREME",
and later renamed "Mr.Willy Curbelo", It
featured alternative and indie rock, Electronica/Dance/Dubstep/Breakbeat/PSY and new stuff. I'm also active in selecting new music for the
station and reviewing albums sent to us.

You can also send your demo CDs to BCFM whose show consists mainly of unsigned music. (send to Mr.Willy Curbelo)

BCFM 93.2 fm We broadcast a wide range of programmes with original features including
Stories, local Documentaries,News, sport topical chat and a great range of music"

He says new volunteers are sometimes shocked at just how real the experience at Radio is. "We put volunteers directly into the field as
reporters and producers. Nobody fetches coffee or makes copies.

This is an opportunity to put your passion and enthusiasm for journalism into practice. The rewards from the time and effort that you
dedicate to your placement will be show as you build-up an impressive portfolio of work. You will be supported by experienced journalists with a
wealth of knowledge, guiding you throughout your placement as you gain experience in a wide variety
of areas.

The majority of the workforce is based in Bristol. However, the nature of local and community radio services means that the radio workforce
is more widely dispersed throughout the UK than other creative media sectors, with major clusters in the South West of England.
