My voice is unique and I have a very broad vocal range (I also sing). I can learn to imitate just about anyone by listening to them long enough, but I also have my own unique voice. One thing that is noticeable about me is that I can transcend emotion into the different voices I speak in. It's as if I give the voice it's own energy. Making it it's own entity!
I also possess impeccable articulation skills (especially with accents) which helps convey information clearly and concisely while capturing the listeners' attention & allows me to pause on certain words in order to build anticipation or a call to action.
In a recent evaluation of my voice from a professional coach at Such A Voice, I was told, "Megan has nice depth to her voice. A natural talent, you have a friendly neighbor-next-door sound that engages the listener, well done! However, more vocal inflections are required, ie, “With the CRY of a BABY” as opposed to a gentle “With the cry of a baby”. You will need a little adjustment to make you sound more real but your diction is excellent and that raspy tone you have is terrific. It seems you are focusing on each word which can impact your pacing but with some vocal development and guidance, I see you doing narratives or commercials that tell people something they can’t miss or something important. You could have a bona fide client list ahead. Nice job, Megan!"
With the right coaching, training, and opportunities to do voice-over work, I know I can add that vital aspect to any project presented to me. I look forward to making your next project epic!

I've never done professional work but ever since I was a child people have always told me I'd be excellent at voice over work. I know I have a unique voice and voice-over is something I have always had an enjoyable interest in (my brother and I used to reenact movies for my mother and her friends and I quote movies and celebrities to those around me constantly), and believe I'd be excellent at doing long-term. Of course, I am more than willing to be coached & taught how to improve and perfect my craft. I learn very quickly and take instruction fairly well. Plus, I have a great sense of humor to boot :)
I am currently not a part of any associations nor do I currently possess any industry-related education (unless you count the 23 years I've been quoting movies, actors, vocalists, and singing), but that's just my current situation & is not indicative that I will not accomplish these things if/when someone hires me :)

I have a home studio to record in that is reliable and quiet. I can bring a fresh prospective to any project. While I take instruction very well, I am not afraid to think outside of the box and add creative spins or clever jokes or sounds where I feel they fit. I take constructive criticism exceptionally well, I am quick on my feet under pressure, and am very imaginative and creative but can also stay within the lines if I must. I am very well spoken (but can talk in a great "ghetto" voice when I'm ready) & am a creative writer, lyricist, poet, singer, songwriter, musician, comedian, actress, music producer, and I am me. I guarantee you will never find another person on this planet who is exactly like me. I am set apart from everyone else in the world and if you act now, you can have me make your next project epic! :)
