If you've ever wondered what a bottle of good single-malt Scotch might sound like if it could speak -- this is it.
Professional ... believable ... authoritative-yet-soothing ... upscale ... deep, rich & resonant ... confident ... credible ... inspirational ... relaxing ... calming ... guided mindset -- with a genuine, caring warmth that makes people want to pay attention.
Bill has a real-person quality that can vary from serious business-on-demand to gentle Santa Claus or grandfather.
His fully-equipped studio allows him to respond to rush projects quickly and provide a top-tier signature voice on short notice.
Often described as having a late-night, smokey, 'bedroom voice' -- cool ... soothing ... luxurious.
At the same time Bill can be conversational and friendly, engaging and educational -- with a stress-reducing voice that relaxes and inspires even the most demanding listener.
Totally at home with audio books and being a story-teller. Also a seasoned image and branding voice.
Gifted with a deep and profound set of life experiences as well as a dry-yet-amusing wit, audiences instinctively trust Bill -- and as a result he brings that trust and respect to your project.

Bill's maiden voyage into voiceovers dates back even further than high school. 'Sad to publicly admit, but he used to "produce" some of the silly stories in Mad Magazine during that era -- sound effects, bad accents 'n' all. Then he would inflict those recordings on friends & family (Forgive me, guys. I was young!).
He spent 23 years in radio -- mostly as a production voice.
In addition to the radio background Bill spent a decade or two running an ad agency. While other agencies loved to do print ads, his loved to produce lots of broadcast work. And voiceovers, of course.
As for audio, he cut his teeth during Those Golden Olden Days Of Razor Blades & Splicing Tape. He could only have dreamt of the digital capabilities we have today. And today he revels in those capabilities.
Quite plainly and quite simply, audio -- good audio -- is in Bill Maxwell's DNA.
