Let’s start with numbers. 4 years of Journalism and English at the University of Politic Sciences, Philosophy and Communication. 5 years of radio. Almost 2 years of voice over, although I did VO while working at the radio too.
Now, let’s move to something more interesting and dynamic- MY VOICE. Grab a delicious brownie and keep on reading. You are about to see some very charming figures. Yes, my voice has a face, actually it has a few.
She’s over there on a chair, wearing comfy casual jeans and continuously explaining. Don’t worry, she doesn’t mind the silly questions, I love this smart and modest teacher. Confident, clear, concise yet always friendly and calm.
Check out this other lady… The one with red lipstick and stylish high heels, yes. She owns a big company, I hear people say she is bossy, authoritative, but still approachable and respectful.
If you look to your left you see this cute mom who gracefully changes diapers while listening to a Christian broadcast on apologetics. She is that type of authentic person, smart and deep, who loves debating, reading tons of books (although that's more like a past activity, no more time for that) while also getting involved in activities that support orphans or abused girls.
Turn to your right and say hello to “Ms Inspirational”. She’s like a wise, caring grandma, but younger and with less wrinkles, who is ready to comfort you, finding just the right words to motivate and get you going.
The athletic woman in her thirties is a funny wife, she “torments” her husband with her precious sarcasm and pretty looks.
Are you still with me? I have two more people to show you. This girl who smiles and talks to everyone: neighbor, bus driver, newspaper kid. And the daydreamer in the corner, she completely forgot there are people around her. In her world, she’s on some exotic beach, singing a cheerful song and having a cold drink. I think I hear her whisper something… her smooth voice is so tranquil.
Umm, I forgot, there is a woman who speaks perfect Romanian, one that knows some French and one that has a nice Central/Eastern European accent when speaking in English.
Yeap, this is my voice, I am Cristina and I would love to work with you.
