Informative and Friendly, Warm presence, neighbor-next-door type.

Damian has been writing, acting, and reporting for as long as he can remember, which currently is back to when he was 8 years old. That’s when he began “borrowing” his father’s Super-8 movie camera and cassette tape recorder to launch his filmmaking career, shooting epic dramas that starred his stuffed animals and Lego-people. He also did things like record one side of an interview on tape, and then play the tape into a second recorder while \"answering\" his own questions. Yes, he was bored as a kid.

By the time Damian was goofing his way through high school, he had begun videotaping live people, handing in completed videos in lieu of actual book reports and homework assignments. His path as a filmmaker and reporter was now underway as Damian applied to and was accepted at William Paterson University, which at the time was the best media-education facility that $2250-per-semester could buy.

At college, Damian honed his writing skills and helped co-create Test Pattern, a student-run production company that covered news-worthy events on campus which enriched his teamwork ethic and launched his broadcasting pursuits. He also videotaped goings on in his dorm apartments throughout his college career, setting the stage for reality-type entertainment that would take the country by storm in the next millennium.

After college, Damian took on stage acting and before long was landing leading roles in productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Over the River and Through the Woods, Rumors, The Odd Couple, Doubt, and Here on the Flight Path. He was honored with a New Jersey Association of Community Theatres Perry Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play as Lenny Ganz (Rumors) and won the Best Leading Actor award at Burlington County Footlighters as Pseudolus (...Forum).

But his lifelong affair with the camera continued to beckon Damian, and soon he complimented his stage work with appearances on TV and in films. The short film “True Identity” (a.k.a The Asylum), which Damian directed, won a “best of” award at the Philadelphia Film Festival, and appearances on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Average Joe 4, America’s Most Wanted, Saturday Night Live, Inside Edition, Anderson Cooper 360,ABC News Topline, Hardball with Chris Matthews, and “10!” on Philadelphia’s NBC10 cemented his place in broadcast media. He then spent the 2008 NHL hockey season working as a web reporter for the Philadelphia Flyers, paving the way for Damian to expand his work resume and finally find his current niche as television broadcaster, host, and on-air reporter. Damian then was scooped up by WPHL17 in Philadelphia to Host \"Better Philly\", a new Daytime TV Talk Show. After 3 years as host, Damian left to concentrate on freelance reporting and in 2011 Damian won three Telly Awards for his live National Television appearances during election season, followed by another Telly Award win in 2012 for his interview with cancer-striken guitarist Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, and then two more in 2013, including the SILVER TELLY, for his wedding introduction video. Damian has also hosted and emceed various charity fundraising events including the All Hands Working Winter Classic Hockey Game for the Leary Firefighter Foundation, Labor of Love for handicapped citizens, and Philadelphia Art-Reach, to benefit those whose afflictions deprive them of artistic immersion.
But Damian's not done yet! Visit the news section of this site often and follow this award-winning producer, commentator, and actor as he continues to make his mark on the Philadelphia and National media scene.
