My greatest strength is in characters. I have done lots of video game characters in my past work, some villains, some heroes, some just ordinary background people. If you can dream up a character, I can make him come to life.
I have worked on quite a few projects and have had plenty of experience building my vocal talent over the course of my life since childhood. In my early years I was misdiagnosed with nervous tics caused by stress. This was later found out to be Tourette Syndrome as it continued to develop with age. Tics became audible noises, audible noises became muttering words and repeating words in conversation. I still have all of the aforementioned issues, tics and all, but as I grew up believing this was all my fault, I began to mimic things I heard, most notably TV and video games, to disguise what was happening. So rather than not having a filter at all in what I said, I suppressed it with a new filter by repeating something else to appease the need. I know a lot of this seems silly to many, I'm sure, but as a result I have learned various accents and can mimic a lot of different characters. The Tourette Syndrome is now quite under control, and at most only interferes with my daily life through barely audible noises, and does not pose a complication in my work.
I would love to show you how far I've come with an audition!

I am experienced in video game voice overs, and often play voices of morbid nature. I have played the villain in the video game titled 'Action Bird' as well as over 400 voice over lines in another video game titled 'Star Imperial'. I have worked closely with and managed a small team for the latter project.
I have also provided voice overs for a few local friends for freelance projects in the not-for-profit sector. References available upon request.
I have a great deal of experience in audio and video editing and have learned many subsequent effects as a result. Combining my voice with radio transmission effects, ghost effects, and things of that nature, as well as applying motion to my voice.
I can do alternate voices, such as two people talking to each other. In many cases, during one read.
I'm personality tofu. I can push a myriad of accents, and pick new ones up remarkably fast. I often apply method acting to my work and absorb the character's personality to make the output more authentic.
In high school I attended acting and theater class as an extracurricular activity during both study halls, and summer classes. I've also attended private classes on voice over acting, audio remixing, and sound effect specialization. I gained experience managing a small team of voice over artists on a previous project.
Overall a great majority of my experience is the summation of hands on training.

I will provide voice over talent as described by the employer.
Please try to be as descriptive as possible when requesting a specific voice. Unless otherwise specified, it is often best if you can liken them to an already existing character in the world. (EG I want him to sound like and his personality should be similar to when he speaks.) This will help me determine exactly what I can do to help you achieve the best possible results, though it is not completely necessary.
(Please remember that directly or purposely limiting information to "allow your creativity to run with it" directly limits my creativity. You must be as specific as possible. You wouldn't tell your car mechanic to "be creative" when you want him to change the tires, now would you? Be specific in what you need, and let my creativity run with the actual performance.)
I am more than happy to work around you and your needs. If there are any questions or special requests, please do not hesitate to ask.
I can also travel to a local professional recording studio. There are several in my area that accommodate voice over talent. Please note though that this service may come with an additional fee.
"I'm Alexander Phoenix, team leader for the Star Imperial Game Project. Kevin is not only a consummate voice artist but also an exceptional team leader. He has the ability to inspire a voice team to turn out EXACTLY the kind of voice-overs that a project needs. He has talent and exactly the right instincts - and he works hard to ensure that what he and his team turn out is just PERFECT. I used him for the Star Imperial Game project, and was very pleased with his work, and with that of his team. Whether I'm making a game or a movie, I would use Kevin every time. You can contact me with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org."Kotarkh Empire
